Solar Impulse 2, the plane trying to fly around the world without fuel, has landed in California after a two-and-a-half day flight across the Pacific.

It is awesome how fast and far alternative fuel technologies are taking us in a relatively short period of time.  Piloted by Swiss explorer and psychiatrist Bertrand Piccard and Swiss engineer Andre Borschberg they are showing the world the future.
