Uber and Google have invested hundreds of millions of dollars on self driving car efforts. It is also interesting the efforts have included using IBM Watson. IBM Watson is an artificial intelligence computing system that utilizes natural language processing, information retrieval, knowledge representation, automated reasoning, and machine learning technologies to the field of open domain question answering to assist in answering questions and driving new world life solutions including driving. The system has famously competed in the game show Jeopardy! and chess matches.
